Individual Concept Attainment (pass-offs)

Evidence of musical concepts attained (pass-offs) requires the student to show continued progress through their method book.  This is one of the keys for your child to be successful on their instrument.   Students earn stamps on songs passed in their method books. Parents should check their books weekly for progress. Seventh and eighth grade students should average two stamps per week. Sixth graders should average three stamps per week since this will be a major focus of their classes.  Of course most students will pass off far more than this.  To help the student excel in their method book, extra help sessions are offered both before and after school. Students will benefit from regular participation in these sessions.
